These are the only photos I have from the games I attended in South Africa. They are taken from my phone camera because I forgot my camera on my way out the door. As you can see, the uniforms on these guys look great, due to a once a week usage. The shoes and soccer balls are used 5 or more practice and game sessions a week and wear out quickly.

I watched four teams play that day. The best outfitted team had only 8 pairs of shoes for 16 players.
They switched off shoes as they were substituted
on and off the pitch.
Drop Off Locations
If you have spare pairs of soccer shoes lying around the house that would fit 10 – 17 year old boys and girls,
tie them together,
put them in a grocery bag
and drop them off at one of our collection locations.
Or soccer balls, one size fits all.*

Start a drop off location locally. Contact us to let us know so we can come pick up the shoes before our next shipment. We can also publish your location here so others will know about it in your neighborhood.
*PLEASE DO NOT buy new balls or shoes. If you want to send money instead of collecting equipment, donate to help ship the goods to South Africa.
Start a shoe drive
Ask others on your team to bring shoes to practice so you can drop off a number of pairs at once. If you know anyone playing soccer in AYSO or another club, consider organizing a team drive with them as well.
Notify us and we will pick up your shoes
at the end of your drive.

Even though it looks like I have it all together, I assure you I do not. The only reason all of this looks the way it does is because I design for a living and am motivated to do whatever it takes to get shoes and balls over to my friends in the slums outside of Durban, South Africa. Most of my talents stop with design and knowing a few people in the local soccer community. I am relying on your talents and connections to help the rest of the way. Soccer is the most popular sport played
